Meet our Diamond Team!

Debie Cooper

Debie is an ex gymnast who competed at County Level. After a break from the sport, she later volunteered at another Kent Club. There, Debie developed and trained several Kent Champions and headed up the Spires Academy Gymnastics Team who have brought home National Titles.

Debie has carried on with her Coaching Qualification and in January 2020 passed the 4 practical Modules for Women's Artistic Level 3 Award. This is added to her Pre-School Level 1, British Gymnastics Mentor, safeguarding and First Aid Qualification.

Debie also heads up our Young Leadership Academy which enourages Young Adults to volunteer within the sport and develop their own coaching style. 2 of the Young Leaders she has mentored have gone on to receive a nomination for a National Award; One of whom, went on to win BG National Volunteer of the Year Award.

Clare Blair

Clare started out as a parent of 3 girls attending gymnastics. Over the years she has become more involved in the sport. Clare has achieved her Level 2 General Gymnastics Coaching Award and Level 1 Floor & Vault Judge. Clare has more recently become our Club's Welfare Officer.

Phoebe Blair

Phoebe is a Level 2 WAG Coach. She will be completing her British Gymnastics Apprenticeship in August 2023.
She is an ex gymnast competing at County & Regional Levels. Phoebe was awarded British Gymnastics National Volunteer Award when she was very young. She has excelled as a coach.

Kirsty Maguire

Kirsty is a Level 1 General Gymnastics Coach. She is an ex gymnast with a wealth of experience. Kirsty is also a Level 1 Floor & Vault Judge.

Niomi Blair

Niomi is a Level 1 WAG Coach. She has competed at County & Regional Level. She has volunteered as a Young Leader at several National Events. Niomi will be part of our Senior Display Team who will be representing GBR at the World Gymnaestrada summer 2023.
Niomi is also a qualified Level 1 Floor & Vault Judge.

Josie Cooper

Josie has been involved in gymnastics since she was 4 years old. She has competed for her school, attending National Finals on several occasions & Club during her gymnastic career. Josie was part of our Senior Display Team representing GBR at the World Gymnaestrada in 2023.
She has completed her Gymnastics Helper Course & is now Level 1 WAG Coach

Chloe Taylor-Bullen

Chloe has been a apart of our Club from the very beginning. She has progressed as a gymnast having competing at National Finals for Spires Academy. Chloe still competes for the Club and attend County and Regional competitions. More recently Chloe was part of our Senior Display Team that represented GBR at the World Gymnaestrada during the Summer. Chloe has built up lots of experience to pass on to our younger gymnasts and is now a Level 1 WAG Coach
